I hope y'all had an amazing week! This week was a good one here in Washington! We got to see a few of our friends this week and made a new one! We also had a friend at church which was awesome! We also had zone conference this week and it was amazing! Heavenly Father will always answer your prayers! He knows what you need and He will help you find answers to your questions!
Something that I loved that was shared in zone conference this week was something my Mission President's wife said. She said that the Book of Mormon is our spiritual vitamin D3! As many of you know, it rains a lot in Washington. The sun is pretty rare around here, but there is sun that can shine any time of the year and that can be found through the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Whenever you are feeling down or feeling like there's a lack of sunshine in your life, read the Book of Mormon and you will be filled with the sunshine that the fullness of the gospel brings! I have also seen as I have shared that fullness of the gospel I have also been filled with sunshine on the days when it's pouring rain. I love the phrase in the hymn There is Sunshine in my Soul Today that says, "There is sunshine in my soul today, more glorious and bright than glows in any earthly sky, for Jesus is my light." As we turn to Christ and follow His gospel we can be filled with light and joy. I invite you each to immerse yourselves in the fullness of the gospel by reading the Book of Mormon this week!
