Service on the Horse Farm

This was posted on the Puget Sound Latter-day Saints facebook page!

Danielle Breckinridge, owner of Moné Farms and Training Center (a horse farm, training center, and rescue shelter, located in Snohomish County), had been spending long hours caring for animals, providing riding lessons, and offering therapeutic lessons for people with a variety of backgrounds, such as autism and cerebral palsy.

Due to an injury, and after having lost her head ranch hand several years prior, Danielle was afraid she was going to lose her business; the pace to keep things up and running was never-ending.

Enter the Missionaries!

Always looking for ways to serve, Latter-day Saint Missionaries, assigned to the Washington Everett Mission, saw an opportunity to make a difference and wanted to help. Two days a week, these young men and women muck out stalls, fill water troughs, unload hay bales, and help with other various needs around the farm.

Danielle says, “Having the missionaries come is the highlight of the week. They have been a true God-send.”
